How to open Command Prompt

To open Command prompt Press Window+R and then type ‘cmd in box and command prompt will be open.

You can also open it by searching in ‘Type hear to search’ by typing cmd or command prompt.

To find path or location of any app using command prompt

To find path or location of any app using command prompt type command “where app name”.For example if we have to find where python is installed on our system we will write “where python“. It will display location of app where it is installed.

Change directory in command prompt:

Open command prompt and type cdpath where you want to change directory path or we can simply do it by going to location of directory and type cmd. A command prompt window will be opened up with folder path.
