Sometimes data contains duplicate entries in a column. In Excelwe can check it by selecting column click on Home->conditional formatting->highlight cell rules->Highlight Duplicate Values. Then it will Highlight the cells with red color as shown in below image

How to Remove duplicates in Excel:
To remove It we can filter and delete it but we can remove duplicates by clicking on remove duplicate function in excel data tab. Click on Highlighted blue icon shown under data Tab and Select only column from which you want to remove duplicates.

It will remove the corresponding rows containing duplicates values as shown below
