Here are the List of shortcut keys in excel we can make use to save time.

Shortcut Keys in Excel:

Alt+Enter:

If we want to move to next row in same cell in Excel then we will use Alt+Enter.

Alt+F4:

To close Pop-UP window in Excel using keyboard we use Alt+F4.

Ctrl+W:

It is shortcut of Closing Files (it could be pdf, Excel, word) etc.

F2:

It is used to rename file.

Alt+N+V+T:

It is used for Pivot table creation.

Alt +A + E:

it is used for text to column function in excel.

CTRL+C:

It is used for copying.

CTRL+V:

It is paste shortcut.The data what you have copied pasted using this shortcut in given cell.

CTRL+Z:

It is used for UNDO anything.if you want to go previous step you can perform control+z

CTRL+Y:

If you want to go steps further in excel you can press control+y.Â

ALT+H+B+A:

It is used for All border of a table.

CTRL+E:

It is used for flash fill data.If you want to abstract or add anything in  a cell data from column.You have to just write one manually and then press control+E it will automatically flash fill same till last row.

CTRL+1:

Combination of Control+1 shortcut keys in excel is used to open format cell dialog box.

CTRL+F:

It is shortcut for find and replace in excel.

CTRL+T:

It is shortcut to create table in excel or format as a table in excel.

CTRL+D:

To drag or copy same element below.

CTRL+G:

It open Go to dialog box in excel.With using Control we can also copy paste multiple rows many time.for an instance if we want to copy paste date in 2 rows to 6 times then we can use Control+G.

  1. Select no of rows and copy.
  2. Press Control+G and type A1:A6 as we want to copy and paste data in 6 rows.
  3. Press Control+V.

Data will be pasted 6 times.
